The genius bandit, it turns out, is Lewis Miller, a florist seen regarding the fantastical wedding and company arrangements. Over the last few months, he also his merry gang of beautifiers have lived stealthily creating what they identify Flower Flashes. The aim? Only to bring joy to their other citizens’ daily commutes. “Gifting flowers to Further Yorkers is a basic idea that I have been thinking about for years,” Lewis about. “I remain in the business of imagination and floral, and our task to help transform key times in my clients’ lives in joyful, everlasting memories. I needed to reconstruct the same feeling for the daily city-dwellers and visitors of New York Area.”
Below, Lewis gives Vogue a closer look at the Flower Exhibits, and shares what else we can expect through their burgeoning side project.
“With our chief one, the Picture Mosaic in Core Park, we live frightened by the way easily a group had created. And with this age of societal media, we grasped the fruits of our industry then remain immediately rewarded via Instagram! We got to see how our intention turned with real point with numerous selflies with pictures documenting the flowers throughout the course of the day. It was really neat to observe people adjusted with altered the installation, sometimes in altering the blossoms, other point before merely getting them!”

“Who doesn’t love to get flowers? They exist such a luxury, and New York Town is a really rough, fast-paced town. If we could get nature—something outdoors and sumptuous—to New Yorkers and make them smile, the way people smile when they see a random act of kindness, and then that is a good point. That will exists the purpose. It’s a very simple idea but strong, I think, to found the emotional reaction in flowers.”
